Applejack

An intelligent “tile placement” game by Uwe Rosenberg.

In front of Applejack’s cabin is a large orchard. Help him and his daughter plant apple trees and harvest the juicy apples. Don’t forget to set up the beehives between the trees. Because at the end of the game, the one who gets the most honey wins!

On their turn, players select 1 tile from the harvest board in the center of the table. This tile shows a combination of apple varieties and apple blossoms, as well as beehives. The beehives show the cost of that tile in honey.

The Tile is placed in the player’s orchard. The hives must be placed next to other hives on tiles already in play to get the player’s honey tiles.

When the apple symbol on the harvest board encounters an apple icon, that apple variety will be harvested – and the player will receive honey tokens again. But only if they have arranged the apples in a meaningful way.

After 19 turns, each player’s orchard is filled and the final scoring takes place. Apples, apple blossoms, and honey collected will be scored. Whoever has the highest score will win a game of Applejack!
